ESP at Bass Player Live 2015

ESP at Bass Player Live 2015

It's no secret in the world of bass that ESP has become a major player in recent years. The reason is simple: more and more bass players from just about every genre of music are choosing ESP for their most important recording and live performance work. ESP has been expanding our bass offerings in many areas, and 2016 will once again be a year that our focus on outstanding bass designs is a huge priority.

That's why ESP was an exhibitor at this year's Bass Player Live event, held in early November in Hollywood at SIR Studios, and with a star-studded concert at Musicians Institute. Below are a few pictures we grabbed when we weren't busy showing off our current lineup of basses along with some prototypes that are making their debut next year.

Visitors to our booth at Bass Player Live 2015 got to see a combination of some of our most popular current basses along with a few surprises that we have in store for next year.

For example, what is this interesting bass being played by Pancho Tomaselli (War, PHILM)? Inquiring minds want to know!

Virtuoso jazz/fusion/funk/pop bass guru Bunny Brunel was a featured performer at the Bass Player Live concert, using a custom-painted version of his signature bass. You're probably already seen Bunny's amazing LTD Signature Series basses, right?

Hmm, another unknown bass prototype. Mysteries abound!

Here are ESP players Joey Vera (Armored Saint) and Pancho Tomaselli (War, PHILM) with ESP's Chris Cannella.

Is that the legendary Phil Chen (Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton and many more) rocking our basses at Bass Player live?

For real: a 5-string, fanned fret F-bass would just make my week.
