One of the biggest benefits of being a member of the ESP artist family -- some people might say the biggest one of all -- is having access to the renowned ESP Custom Shop in Tokyo, Japan. ESP player Doug Aldrich (The Dead Daisies) likely agrees with this sentiment after receiving this magnificent TE-style model that our acclaimed luthiers hand-built to his specifications. We don't have all the details of Doug's new ESP available -- that was between him and our luthiers -- but we can tell you that it's based on a traditional body style in black finish with a full-sized pearloid pickguard and two humbucking pickups, each with its own volume and tone control, along with a vintage-style bridge/tailpiece. Doug's ESP Custom has also been pre-distressed, giving it the look and feel of a guitar that's been rocked for years and years.

Doug is well known not only from his recent efforts with the Dead Daises, but also for his time as a member of Whitesnake, Dio, and other masters of the hard rock/metal genre.
