ESP's Signature Series Gets 18 New Models

ESP Guitars, well known for its Signature Series line of guitars and basses created from custom models designed for artist endorsees,
has added 18 new models to the line.

Created for Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield, the ESP KH-2 OUIJA (white), ESP KH-2 OUIJA (black), LTD KH-OUIJA, and ESP IRON CROSS ECLIPSE are the latest models from the legendary guitarists who have been playing ESP guitars for over 20 years.

Four new models have been introduced for Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom. Using a similar body design to his earlier models with new finishes and feature enhancements, the ESP ALEXI-Blacky, ESP ALEXI-Scythe, LTD ALEXI-600-Blacky, and LTD ALEXI-600-Scythe will be available soon at ESP dealers and international distributors.

ESP’s long-standing relationship with George Lynch is represented in this year’s new offerings with the LTD GL-200MT. Based on Lynch’s famous ESP M-1 Tiger, the GL-200MT offers an affordable alternative for players who want to get into one of Lynch’s most iconic guitars.

ESP and LTD’s Will Adler (Lamb of God) signature models have been spruced up with a new black camouflage finish. The ESP Will Adler, LTD WA-600, and LTD WA-200 are now offered in the sleek new look.

Gus G of Firewind was worked with ESP to offer major enhancements to his signature models. The ESP GUS G. NT and LTD GUS-600NT now have a neck-thru-body design and a Tonepros bridge/tailpiece.

Two well-known players have made the move to V-shaped guitars with their signature models. Wayne Static of Static-X helped design the LTD STATIC-600V, which adopts a similar black-nickel diamond-plate surface as his previous model. Similarly, Dan Jacobs of Atreyu has taken the blood-spattered motif of his former model and turned it into the V-shaped LTD DJ-600V.

Finally, Page Hamilton of Helmet celebrates his 20th year as an ESP player with the introduction of the ESP Page Hamilton MG and the LTD PH-600MG. These guitars are based on Hamilton’s go-to guitar that he’s used on many projects over the past two decades, and is designed to replicate all the wear and tear on the original custom model. Immediately identifiable with its hot magenta finish, the guitar also features Page’s custom components including a Dimarzio Air Zone pickup.
