ESP Mourns the Loss of Metal Mulisha Rider Jeremy Lusk
You may have recently noted that the worldʼs premiere freestyle motocross team, Metal Mulisha, have become part of the ESP family. Over the course of getting to know the team, weʼve become friends with this extraordinary group of talented and daring riders.
While pushing the limits of what can be accomplished in extreme sports, these riders define the word “fearless”, and astound and amaze us with their skills. Unfortunately on Saturday, February 7, Jeremy Lusk sustained severe injuries while competing in an event in Costa Rica and sadly passed away three days later on Tuesday February 10. He was 24.
If youʼre not familiar with Jeremy, he was a gold medal winner who was ranked as one of the worldʼs very best FMX riders. Hailing from the San Diego area, Jeremy started riding when he was three years old, and turned pro at 19. According to all accounts, he was also a great guy who inspired everyone else around him. Metal Mulisha has put up a very nice photo page in remembrance of Jeremy at metalmulisha.com.
Everyone at ESP sends our sincere condolences to Jeremyʼs family and friends, as well as all of our friends at Metal Mulisha. |
