    A classic shape gets updated with tons contemporary vibe and modern performance feel! The LTD TE-401 is a mahogany body shred machine that’s great for hard rock, metal, and other aggressive music genres. It includes set-thru construction, with a thin U-shaped maple neck and a macassar ebony fingerboard with 24XJ frets. Active electronic pickups give the TE-401 a powerful variety of tones, with EMG 60 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) pickups. High-quality components include Grover tuners, and it’s offered in menacing Black Satin and Snow White Satin finishes.

        Just got this guitar and absolutely love it. Is there a specific cleaner to remove fingerprints? I've never had an instrument with the satin finish and don't want to damage it

          Hi, we do not recommend frequent polishing of a satin finish. The more you polish the finish, the shinier it will become. Use a clean dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth with light pressure. You can use a standard guitar spray polish but go lightly, and wipe clean and dry immediately. Do not use any compound or abrasive polish.

                  I'd like to see a stripped down TE401B. 27" scale with an inverted head stock. Just the emg 81 at the bridge a volume knob and a two way toggle kill switch at the top like the 3 way switch on the EC models
