The ESP Guitar Company

As you almost certainly recall, over the summer, we held a sweepstakes that allowed one lucky person to use our ESP USA Online Configurator to specify a guitar with their choice of top woods, finish, pickups, and other elements. The randomly-chosen winner was Daniel Boutwell of Bellevue, WA, and as we do with many of our ESP USA guitars, we built the model he wanted specifically to his order. The USA Eclipse that he won was created and sent to him recently.

We thought you might like to see Daniel's guitar, and the folks here at our ESP USA shop who made it. If you'd like us to build one for you, start configuring it now!

Daniel chose an ESP USA Eclipse with a quilted maple top in Purple Sunburst finish with Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II pickups... a very nice combination. Here's his guitar before it left our facility in North Hollywood, CA.

The detail that goes into building each ESP USA model is superb. These guitars are built one at a time by experienced luthiers right here in Southern California.

In creating guitars with this level of quality, everything matters, from the selection of the woods to the fine details like masked binding and much more.

Finally, here's Daniel himself. It's safe to say he feels pretty happy about his new ESP USA Eclipse. "I finally got to open it last night, and it is freakin' amazing!," he says.
