The Invader II offers tone-sculpting flexibility that may be second to none. It starts with 16 -- yes, 16 -- sounds that are the base from which you can discover new worlds of sound. What are the sweet sixteen sounds? There are four channels, each with low and high gain modes, and then it adds ENGL's Sound switch that alters your tone based on your channel and gain settings. But hold on... you can use the optional SWM Z16 Sound Wizard Module with the Invader II, with 96 micro rocker switches, allowing you to comprehensively tweak your tones at any gain setting… a dream come true for all tone hunters! All this is controllable via MIDI, and with a 3-band EQ per channel, noise gate, and comprehensive connection options onboard, from clean chime to meaty crunch to brutal high-gain brutality, for literally every genre and style of music, there’s nothing the all-tube Invader II can’t do!
