The reviewers over at Premier Guitar Magazine are all serious players who seem to have a terrific understanding of what makes a guitar great... or not, as happens occasionally. But that wasn't an issue for writer/guitarist Joe Charupakorn when he did an in-depth review of the LTD Kirk Hammett Signature Series KH-V. The review, which was just posted by the magazine and is in their October 2023 issue, had nothing but kudos for this outstanding guitar. Joe's bottom line conclusion says it all...

"If you’re a Kirk Hammett fan in search of a killer V-shaped guitar, then the LTD KH-V is a no-brainer. But even if you’re not a Hammett fan, the LTD KH-V’s detail, clarity, capacity for articulation, top quality, and fair price make this a guitar any shredder should consider."

In the review, Joe calls out the build quality, the versatility, the playing comfort, and the components of the KH-V, especially noting the guitar's hardware components which a pair of active EMG Kirk Hammett signature Bone Breaker humbuckers, a TonePros locking Tune-o-matic-style bridge with a string-through-body design, and LTD locking LTD tuners. In fact, the KH-V was ranked so highly by Premier Guitar across all of its review criteria that the magazine recognized it with their "Premier Gear" award.
