With the LTD 400 Series, we wanted to create an instrument that had everything a serious performing and recording guitarist really needs, while still coming in at a price range that most musicians can afford. Our latest additions to the 400 Series lineup are some of the best examples of that philosophy we’ve ever made.

H-401

The LTD H-401 is a beautiful guitar with set-thru construction, offering fast and smooth access to the highest frets. It employs a mahogany body with a mahogany top in Natural Satin finish, with a set-thru, three-piece maple neck, and full binding on the body, neck, and headstock. The H-401 features a high-output Seymour Duncan Jazz and Custom-5 pickups, Grover tuners, and an LTD fixed hardtail bridge.

M-400

With the M-400, you get a sturdily well-built bolt-on shredding machine, complete with the classic M-style extra thin flat neck profile. It includes a mahogany body, a fast three-piece maple neck, and 24 extra-jumbo frets on its rosewood fingerboard. Like the rest of the M Series, simplicity is the key to the M-400, with a single volume knob and a selector to choose between its world-standard active EMG 85/EMG 81 pickup set. The M-400M also includes Grover tuners and a Floyd Rose bridge.

If passive pickups are more your style, the M-400M is packaged with a set of Seymour Duncan Jazz and Custom-5 pickups. It looks great with its mahogany top in Natural Satin finish, and plays equally as well with its extra thin flat U-shaped maple neck.

If the HSS pickup layout is more to your tastes, the new M-403 is a hardtail guitar that offers three outstanding pickups: two Seymour Duncan stacked single-coil STK-4 pickups and a Seymour Duncan Custom-5 humbucker in the bridge position. This guitar has a super-classy look with its flamed maple top in Natural Satin finish on its mahogany body, and full binding on the body, neck, and headstock.
