2007 ESP M-II Standard Custom True Fire paint.
2007 ESP Standard Custom painted. This guitar is essentially an ESP M-II standard that was Custom painted by "Mike Lavaelle" of Killer Paint to Blue Tru Fire. Killer paint has been on many TV shows and is the originator of the TRU FIRE flame paint style. I believe that Mike Lavaelle of Killer paint later closed his business forever. The paint was so precision air brushed that the original ESP logo was untouched and remained unblemished or tampered with. I also changed one of the two EMG 81 pickups to an 85 in the bridge giving a nice warmer sound. Overall I figured regardless of it being a standard model, someone might enjoy seeing the nice custom paint job done to a standard. I knew other pro artist that had (2nd hand) custom paint jobs done to there stock guitars in the 80's. I love the ESP Standard/ E-II guitars because they feel and sound the way I love as if they were built just for me. I know If I purchase one stock, it will already be the way I like, built perfect for my taste. Inspiration is art.
