One of the best guitars I have ever owned, regretfully had to sell during hard times.....
I have a KH-202 with serial number
L0823032 can anyone tell me the year
I recently purchased a LTD KH-202 with serial number L0823032 I can't find any info online can you let me know the year
Love to have this guitar
my first floyd rose guitar. lookin forward on playin more with it. though i'd like to adress that the LTD guitars might would get way more people to them if you guys would install a gotoh ge1996T fabric wise instead of the floyd rose special tremolo wich will wear out pretty fast.
I've been playing guitar for 25 years. As a lefty I have a really hard time finding guitars that I love. I bought a KH-202 and instantly fell in love with it. For me it is the perfect guitar. It's my number 1 guitar and I'll never part with it...ever. The neck is the best I've ever played. It is a very nicely crafted guitar. Everything about it is top notch. There are a few guitars to choose from at this price point and I'm soo happy I went with LTD. I've been an LTD player for several years and this guitar is just perfect. I play thrash and hardcore with drop c tuning. The floyd rose special has been absolutely perfect for me. Always returns to pitch perfectly. I've had the guitar for about 3 years and it hasn't aged a bit. I eventually did some mods to it, but playing this guitar for a couple years right out of the box has been perfect. I installed EMG 81-85 swapped all the parts on the floyd but kept the floyd rose special base plate. Installed floyd rose fat brass trem block, along with Noiseless springs, and brass claw. The guitar absolutely sings, and for me, it's is the best sounding and playing guitar I've ever owned hands down, and I would absolutely buy another one, just to have. It is absolutely beautiful
I’ve asked Malaysia dealer about when the stock will arrived, but they have no idea when it will arrive here in Malaysia.
Got this for my Bday from wife used a couple of years ago I threw some Seymour Duncan Pickups in it and it screams as with most of my ESP/LTD guitars she is always in tune being a GC associate ESP/ LTD is my go to for metal guys looking for an affordable guitar no matter which model.
I have 2 LTD KH-202 guitars and they're both excellent guitars. I am a big ESP/LTD guy for several reasons. Each line has similar quality control standards. Ive had ESP's MII's and LTD's over my 36 years of playing. I favor them for their playability, sound, and quality overall. With regard to the KH-202 I have both the China made version and the Korean made version. Both are great quality and I love them both
My wife brought me this as an early Christmas present as she knew it was my dream guitar since I was a kid and first started listening to Metallica, kirk hammer is the god of guitar, no question (in my opinion) this guitar is seriously something else I promise you’ve never played something like it, it has a unique feel and something about it that can’t be topped. I think everyone who plays it will love it.
this guitar look like first Esp kh model 90s with bolt on maple neck
IS THIS GUITAR MADE WITH INSANE SHRED GOD CRAFTSMANSHIP FOR THE MOST INSANE SHREDDER METAL HAS SEEN KH.
Nice guitar and the things that are the same 3
What’s the fretboard radius on the Kh202? Mine just arrived today and I’d like to know how far the bottom of the strings should be from the 17th fret? Thank you.
Please contact our customer service if you would like technical information or suggestions for setup. customerservice@espguitars.com
i think the radius is 350mm
Does anyone know the specific nut used on this guitar so I can replace it? I already tried the r3 and it wasn’t the correct one.
R3 is for 43mm r2 is for 42mm nut
but that’s for a 10mm radius
Hi, this nut should be available from Floyd Rose. Here is a link to their page for Special Series parts, you will need the R2 style nut. https://floydrose.com/collections/parts/Special-Series
If you need any more help please contact ESP Customer Service @ customerservice@espguitars.com
Are the pickups meant to replicate Hammett‘s signature sound but by using passive pickups instead of Active ones?
Hi, these pickups are not meant to replicate Hammett's sound, for that you should check out the KH-602 which has the active EMG signature Bone Breaker set. However, for the price point of the KH-202, we used a pickup set that is geared to give you a moderately hot output that you can easily get to sound great.
