Very disappointed to have just received this guitar and find that it has a rosewood board!  Why does ESP and every retailer I checked advertise this as having an ebony board???

    Hi KBR, This model does come with an ebony fingerboard. We are now using Macassar Ebony for most of our production models' fingerboards which call for ebony. It could be that your fingerboard is not dark black, however that is the natural state of the wood. It may contain brown and black streaks.
