Just in love with this EC 1000 Deluxe serie, I have 2 of them, the amber sunburst and the purple, both with passive SD as per the specs, I use them for 2 different purposes, the amber sunburst for blues and the JB and 59 humbuckers are amazing, the purple for metal and so tight, so precise amazing sound in both case the sh5 custom is just incredible, the jazz one could also be be for blues when split ..., I use to play on Ibanez and Jackson but I prefer the LTD U thin neck, it matches better to my small hands It seems ...

The only "issue" is that I heard the manufacturing was better in Korea than Indonesia : my sunburst is an Indonesian one, really really well done, fret work, finishing I mean it s really perfect and comparable to japan manufacturing, the purple was made in korea, the only "issue" is that 2 of the 6 tuners are not 100% perfectly aligned, the 2 top ones aren t parallel to the others, it s a small details but it has to be said, not really visible but if you prest a bit of attention you notice it ... For the rest, the finishing and fret work is impecable !

Both of them stay in tune even bending like crazy, both have a lot of sustain, those stainless frets are THE game changer so much in love of these guitars that they are the only one I play nowadays as they made me sell the others I had ... I mean well done to all the ESP / LTD team really !!

Ps : I always had my doubt about LTD (not knowing the brand so much ...) but let me tell you that I ve just sold an Ibanez prestige to get the purple one ‍♂️

Hello ESP, I fortunately own 2 of these amazing EC-1000s' & plan on adding another. Both are incredible guitars. Features, playability, sound, fit, finish are superb. In my humble opinion they are just as good, if not better than other brands that are 3 times the price, hands down. Y'all are puttin the competition to shame, & I thank you to know end for that fact. In 2009 you released the EC-1000 in a see thru blue with Piezo. I now see that you offer the EC-1000 PIEZO, in see thru black, you can use the mini toggle switch to select between the standard pickup set, Seymour Duncan ’59 and JB -- and a Fishman Power Bridge and Tailpiece, or even combine them both. Might you be building them in see thru blue in the near future, with the same features? Kindly advise, thanks so very much & please keep up the phenomenal work!!!

Is the finish gloss or satin?

Could i replace pickups with EMG's in this guitar? would it fit? Thanks for any help

Stainless frets or nickle?

Will this be offered in Stainless frets in the future? I ask because I love the color and I love the pickup combo, but want stainless frets.

I love this Guitar

I bought it along with The Vintage black EC with seymour duncans. I love both guitars and probably would change a thing about them. Ive been about EMG Active 81/85s on alot of rigs ive owned oer the years but the pick ups on these 2 different guitars both sound great and being passive you dont have to worry about your batteries dying!!

Are this Guitar Pickups high output?
