Received my S Fluence this last Friday. Mine is Indonesian. When I saw that I was disappointed. I have a couple of Korean built guitars that are phenomenal. This guitar really put any doubts i had about country of origin being the deciding factor over the quality of a guitar. I have some expensive guitars including a U.S. made PRS. And this guitar plays and sounds as good if not better than any of the other guitars I own. Which include Ibanez, Kiesel and Ernie Ball. If you have any doubts put them aside this is an amazing guitar. 

Hi Jed, We have many EC-1000 models in our lineup. When this version came out there were lots of EC-1000 models with fancy abalone and pearl purfling and inlays. We used the "S" for this model name because it had "Standard" features such as binding and inlays.

Hi Sean, We do not build special orders for LTD products. However I have some good news because this model will be available next year in a left handed version. So check back around the end of this year or beginning of next year. We will usually have new products listed on our site around that time and you can put in an advance order with one of our dealers if you like.

Hi Max, This one is currently not available in left handed but it will be available LH next year.

Hey drakeexedge, Thanks for that suggestion. Yes the Viper doesn't get enough love, but it's a great model.

HI Alex, thanks for your recommendations. THere is no plan of this model yet. However you can customize almost any configuration from our custom shop. It's just not shown on our website because each order is unique.

Hi E.J., there are no plans at this time but certainly it could be an option in the future. Please note that this model has 24F, not 22F.

Hey Jonathan, thanks for letting us know what you're looking for. We actually are releasing 2 EC-1000T CTM models with set thru smooth heels, but they will be loaded with EMG 57/66 TWIN (Brand new from EMG). There will be another full thickness model, not CTM spec but with a Flame top, with Fluence Open Core Classics. I hope you can check out the new versions with splitable EMG pickups, even though you're looking for Fluence.

Hi Panagiotis, The pickups are the same size (they very only slightly) so they will fit into the route.

Hi Michael A, I am not familiar with the Devon Townsend models, but if they are typical to most Fluence pickups, then yes, just disconnect the old pickups and connect the new pickups to the quick connect cables. If Devon's pickups have more than 2 voices or any additional features then you would have to modify the wiring but chances are his pickups have Voice 1 and 2 just like regular Fluence and so you can use existing wiring. Hi Adam, Thanks for your question and sorry for my late reply. As far as we know we are using the latest however we are not aware of any different versions. The EC-1000S Fluence comes with standard Modern humbucker set.

Hi Josua, This is a high gloss Black finish. So the back of neck is also gloss.
