Is the purple model with direct mount pickups and ss frets already available in EU?

Cause there's the H3 1000 purple around already but it's the old version i think, cause it has nickel frets and pickup rings.

Hola. Voy a comprarme una esp ltd h3 1000. El nuevo modelo que trae las Pegasus/Sentient tienen todas los trastes de acero? Las que tienen el set Custom5/Jazz son las que tienen los trastes de niquel?

Hi. When did the purple model start being made with compound radius? If I buy a 2022 model at my local store, will this be compound radius?

I bought this guitar at thomann this month. When I removed the pickups to replace them with emg, the original pickups had SH-2 and SH-14 stickers on them. Why is it different from the specs?

The serial starts with IW22. I believe it was made this year.

Any chance that this model will be available in a lefthand version?

I have question.  Does the string thru add more tension to the strings compared to a TOM or Floyd bridge may I ask?

Colin J.

Where can I buy one?

Todd B. ESP

You can purchase from any authorized ESP Dealer or directly from our website (in case we are out of stock there may not be a Buy Now button).

Just picked this guitar up last week and it’s honestly my favorite so far. Glad I ended up going with ESP/LTD. Great design and color

Todd B. ESP

Hi Nic, glad to hear that! Thanks for choosing ESP, we appreciate your comments!

Hugo F.

Sure hope there is a new model for 2021 really looking forward to stainless steel frets

Tim S.

Yeah me too.  Stainless frets should be an industry standard. Or at least EVO frets, but they have a gold color that doesn't always look good.

I bought this guitar a year ago and since then I haven’t been able to practice guitar without it. I’m happy that my first ESP instrument was this LTD model because of it’s well-made construction, versatility, and striking appearance. If you’re looking to buy this guitar, I’d say that you’re making the right investment. The new H3 models are just as solid and I can’t wait to see more in the future! If I may suggest, I would love to have this model added to the Black Metal Series.

Carl N.

thanks for the suggestion!

My favorite ESP/LTD model! Never tried one before, but will surely get one once it is available again... I really like the OG 3x3 headstock, but this pointy headstock looks rad as well!

Carl N.

thanks for sharing!

John M.

I love the body shape so much.  The headstock shape fits it really well too.  Wish this color came in floyd rose.  And I wish more colors were offered without a see through flame top.  Also perhaps with a more flat top without the bevel..

Carl N.

Thanks for the suggestions

I purchased one of these about a year ago, and it has since become my favourite guitar. I barely even play my USA-made Gibsons and Deans anymore since getting it. While part of this is personal preference for its light weight and longer scale length, the guitar's build quality is as good as or better than my other USA-made instruments. The only thing I've done to it is pop in some EMG 57/66 pickups into it.

I will likely get the new Turquoise one too since I love this one so much, but I would love to see a seven-string LTD model or even have Horizon IIIs added to the ESP USA models list.

Carl N.

Thanks for the comment and suggestions!

Peter B.

O.K. You got me..Its BEA utiful..

3 questions..

1) is it a set neck or a neck through?Never liked when LTD started using the term "set through".Are the wings attached to the Centerboard/neck? Or is it a set tenon to the neck pick up?

2) is the veneer attached to a maple cap or the Mahogany Body?

3) Will there be a Purple Floyd rose?

I would just like to know the construction,None of the answers would sway me away...Thank you...

Carl N.

as the specifications note, this will be a set-thru construction. this does not have a maple cap under the veneer or purple floyd.

Peter B.

wow..Well I got number 2 answered....That was really answered poorly..I think the world wants to know what set thru even means......And I guess we will never know if the color purple is in the works on the floyd version of this guitar..I am going back to the three guitars I am building at the moment...Thanks, I guess

Carl N.

sorry buddy but your questions were worded poorly.

1. Set-thru construction - meaning the instrument is constructed in a manner similar to that of a set neck but the heel of the instrument is shaped akin to a neck thru

2. No plain maple cap unless noted in the specifications - otherwise safe to assume it is with a veneer over the body wood

3. You made it seem like you were asking for a purple Floyd Rose, not to have a purple version of this instrument with a Floyd Rose - Currently no plans at the moment to introduce such a model

Peter B.

Really,A purple floyd rose?...Some one sounds awful uptight.

Carl N.

You'd be surprised by some of the things people ask on here

Koby L.

I love the finish of this guitar and I was wondering, will this model become available with direct mount pickups like the other two LTD H3 models? Or will it remain the same as is?

Carl N.

Hey Koby, currently staying as is.

Eugene T.

Hey there!

This is a really beautiful guitar and I thinking about buying it. Can you please specify of what the frets are made of? Is it stainless steel or nickel?

Carl N.

Hey Eugene, the frets on this will be made of a nickel/silver alloy.  Hope this helps.

Jay R.

In mm, what is the thickness of the neck?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Jay, The neck is our thin u shape. 20mm thick @1F / 22mm thick @ 12th fret.

Titus t.H.

Hey there!

First of all. I love esp / ltd as a guitar brand and the products you make are so nice!

I just bought this guitar and am very happy with it. I also have a ltd ex401dx. Also a very nice guitar.

I have a question. Are the finishes on these guitar nitro or poly. Because I don't want to find out by just hanging it on the wall.

Thanks in advance!!

Todd B. ESP

Hi Titus, thank you for your kind comments! Yes the finishes on these are polyurethane. We have not used nitro for our LTD guitar. All our ESP and E-II are also polyurethane, with the exception of a few "vintage" or distressed finishes that use nitro. Hope this info helps.

Jaymor

I have been an Esp/ltd fan for years. I was just wondering if I could order the H3 1000 Deluxe with Fishman pickups?  If so what's the price?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Jaymor, Sorry we don't offer different pickups or other specs. We build and sell them with the specs listed. If you wanted to have Fishman pickups you would have to swap the pickups after purchase. Sorry I couldn't give you a better answer.
