PURPLE SPARKLE

The LTD KH-602 is a Kirk Hammett Signature Series guitar that offers just about everything that its higher-end cousin, the ESP KH-2, does, at a price that more musicians can afford. Now available in both the original Black finish as well as an updated Purple Sparkle version based on Kirk’s personal ESP Custom instrument, the KH-602 features neck-thru-body construction, with a comfortable alder body, a three-piece extra-thin U-shaped maple neck, pau ferro fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and Kirk's skull-and-bones inlays, and components that include a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge and a set of EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker Signature pickups. It's a powerful guitar designed for professional recording and live performance, perfect for any serious player of intense music. Left-handed version available (Black finish only).
I have one on the way from AMS but mine is pau ferro fingerboard. The purple ones on Sweetwater are ebony.
Are one batch older than the other or what? (Id prefer ebony grrr).
Update: I was a fool for listening to people online about Pau Ferro.
Suhr Guitars use it a lot for their fingerboards.
Including the John Suhr Signature Guitar so...now Im glad Im getting it lolz.
I just picked up one of these, and it's an absolute beast. Aside from the looks (which photos cannot do justice to), playability is beyond smooth, and the Bone Breaker pickups somehow combine the power and slight compression of active pickups with the volume sensitivity of passives. They're dead silent as well, even without a noise gate. This is a no-compromise professional instrument at a price humans can afford. Well done!
I love this guitar! After buying the KH3 30th, I wanted the classic kirk body style. This guitar is beyond incredible. The paint job is flawless. The skull cross bone inlays pop nicely. Underneath its sparkle and glitz, it's a real work horse. Sounds killer and feels solid. A lot lighter weight than my kh3, and the strings are spaced a touch wider, as well. I can't put the guitar down and I think its my new fav. Thanks ESP. Best guitars in the world.
