Formerly called “ESP Standard”, all ESP E-II instruments are created at our ESP factory in Tokyo, Japan, and are designed for professional players who accept no compromises in tone, feel, or reliability for their guitars and basses. With the ESP E-II M-II HT Hipshot, you get all of the tone benefits of a hardtail-style tailpiece with string-thru body design in a beautiful guitar topped in quilted maple with an outstanding Black Turquoise Burst finish. The E-II M-II HT Hipshot also features design details like natural body binding, white binding on the neck and headstock, and black hardware. Its tone is powered by a pair of direct-mounted Bare Knuckle Aftermath Tyger pickups, perfect for modern sounds with accelerated bass response, crushing midrange, and precise high-end articulation. I got one of these a year ago from Sweetwater. Since then it's become the guitar I most frequently use despite owning a number. It's a well built (flaweless actually) guitar, plays with  comfort like an old warn in friend except without the unnecessary wear. I like to get another E-Ii at some point. Brilliant guitars.

Picking up this as my main touring guitar, alongside an e2 M-II  black natural fade tomorrow!

Incredible guitars, road ready, professional level machines built for the stage and studio.

Will leave the ESP amotts at the studio from here on in, and fly the e2 flag live

I'd love to snatch up this beauty!

Wonderful guitar
I have a question
What is meant by: Construction set-thru neck?
Is it similar to neck thrut?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, Set neck with a carve similar to a thru neck. If you have any other questions please contact our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com

The Impermanent One

The set-thru neck is a set neck, but a longer piece of the neck goes into the body, giving the guitar more of a neck-through feel and tone, however preserving the qualities of a set neck body, or at least as I understand it. I have played this guitar and the heel is carved just like neck-through and you wouldn't notice any difference, but tone-wise it's not as dark sounding as a neck-through. Very clever design.

Can you tell me the price? Please
