I got a (barely) used 2019 model, and it is outstanding: extremely high quality craftsmanship and detail on every inch, and it looks absolutely beautiful. The neck feels amazing, these are worth every cent and then some.
Does the E-II ECLIPSE DB Purple Sparkle
have a 3 piece neck or a solid neck?
(I’m assuming that it doesn’t have a scarf joint)
Hi ESP! I just received this guitar and I'm in love. It's the best guitar I've ever played and it sounds just as it looks. Gorgeous. Question. After two minutes of playing, my fingers got SO BLACK, and it's hard to wash it off, that I'm panicking a bit. What is this paint and how do I get it off the fretboard? Thank you.

No one addressed it but after some web searching I found out that most of brands are staining their ebony fingerboards to make them almost pitch black. I just spent 30minutes rubbing it with paper towels to get it off and then once it stopped colouring I treated the fingerboard with F-ONE oil from MusicNomad. The fretboard looks great. I wouldn't call this an issue. The guitar is incredible.
Hello ESP! Question. What material are the inlays in these E-II Eclipses?
The neck/body connection of this particular Eclipse impedes your ability to play comfortable beyond the 17th fret.
What's the point of making a modern single cut with a traditional cumbersome design
I just ordered one, and tried it today... setup was awful, high action, the bridge pu was installed to high an the bridge was cranked up.
$2k+ guitar? ESP raised all the prices on the E-II line? For what?
Hi. Is there a chance to have such Purple Sparkle finish on Eclipse models with contoured heel? It looks amazing, but bulky neck joint heel is little bit disappointing.
I bought this guitar in a red sparkle finish, what does the acronym "DB" stand for?
Can someone please confirm which model of EMG’s are in this particular guitar? It lists 57 and 66 here but I went to buy one from Guitar Center and the salesperson told me it has EMG 81.
I have this guitar and it's a prized possession finest guitar I've ever owned. The Purple Sparkle is insane, if you can get this one!

Just ordered that exact model yesterday from promusictools in Germany. Will be the the perfect guitar for our "bad taste"-Punk Rock Project (playing German "Schlager" but as full blast punk rock versions.
It will replace my R7 Live.... You can guess by the live pic, that it should fit (-:
Really looking forward to play the EMG 57 66 Set... will be a hard time waiting two days.

Hey Duecalzini, we are moving to have these come equipped with the 57TW/66TW pickups which will have push/pulls. This is a running change however so there will still be some individual instruments out there in the wild with the older spec 57/66 set. Once the change has fully been implemented we can update our site accordingly.

Hey duecalzini, this will denote that the instrument is double bound. Currently standard production models do not come with a COA.

Hey Todd, nice sparkle finishes^^. it would be awesome if you ad a Silver Sparkle option in the future. Like a reissue of the old ESP Eclipse-2 w/Duncans SSP from 2012. I really like the combination of the duncan pickups, chrome mounting rings and the silver sparkle finish on that one
Hey Bjarne, I was about to say "where were you in 2012 when we had them?!" Appreciate your suggestion, we're trying to offer as many sparkle finishes as possible. Maybe the silver sparkle will make it's way back into the rotation, can't say for sure though.
I finally got my guitar and it's amazing. I've had many LTD's and this guitar is so amazing. I'm trying to get a video together to share on YouTube just to show hard to find info on it. ESP you rule, as always!
