I'm considering to buy this guitar. I have a few ESP and E-ll M-ll. Is there a reason why ESP don't make Extra Thin Flat Neck profile anymore on the M-II ? In my opinion it was way better than the thin U on this particular model.
Thank you
Hi Chris, thanks for your questions. ESP did use the extra thin flat and thin flat neck shapes back in the 80's and 90's. It's certainly a shape we consider for some models however our Thin U neck shape has become our standard shape which most people are comfortable with. However we see that you're looking for more of the Extra Thin Flat shapes so we'll note your suggestion. Thanks for pointing this out.
any chance to get the same model with active EMG pickups ? never tried these BARE KNUCKLE ...
Hi chadi, Sorry these come with the specs you see. It is not possible to customize pickups or any other specs.
If you want to customize specs like nut, Tuners, pickups or anything else, order through Sweetwater. They charge $75 for labor plus the $100-$200 bucks for the pair of pickups they are going to be installing. They do a great job.
Hi Andrew, thanks for that tip.
This is near perfection. I'd just like to see this with an Evertune.
Hey Justin, Thanks for that suggestion, sounds like a good idea to me.
I gotta get ....I
Hi, is this kind of bridge efficient for drop tuning? (not as floyd rose )
Hi dubois, Yes this bridge lends itself to easier drop tuning since there is no string lock and it is mounted to the body top. It is easy to drop tune or go back and forth.
This guitar is fool proof and Perfect as is. Nice touch with the bone nut.
Hi Heathen, Thanks for those comments. Glad to hear you like it!
Why is this model set through?
The other M-ii models were neck through.
Hey George, Good question. When we first released the E-II M-II FR model we made it neck thru. For these new versions we just wanted to change things up a bit and modernize them. You get the same feel with a set thru but the sound is slightly different. It seemed to fit with this new build including Bare Knuckle pickups and direct mounted pickups with a hard tail bridge. Hope you get a chance to play one and give us your feedback.
Any future plans to add the Evertune bridge to the M-II?
Hey Kevin, no current plans but we are always adding more models where needed, so maybe this is something we could offer in the future. Thanks for the suggestion!
Gorgeous guitar. Wish E-II models weren't so expensive in EU.
You know what would make this guitar perfect. Push/Pull coil splitting.
Hi Joe, thanks for your suggestion.
