cayoub88

Where are these made? Indonesia or Korea? How can i find out? Thanks.

Carl N.

Hey Cayoub, these are made in both Korea and Indonesia, hope this helps!

cayoub88

Carl N. Thanks for your reply. How do I know which is which? And what are the differences between the two other than being made in different countries?

Carl N.

Hey Cayoub, country of origin will be noted on the back of the headstock and that will be the only difference between the two.

Jeffery B.

Wow this guitar would bad ass as 7 string .. man I would buy this guitar in a 7 string .. i need 2 it’s hell to find a V in 7 string

Carl N.

Thanks for your insight Jeffery!

A. Kolbin

Hello, I just bought this and it's awesome, I WA sjust wondering if it includes spare spring in the box because mine didn't came with that. Thanks

Carl N.

Hey Alexis, the tools packs for these will contain a replacement spring but unfortunately some dealers end up throwing these away for some reason.  I'd reach out to the dealer you purchased this from to see if they still had this handy.  Otherwise you can always reach out to our customer service department if you need assistance.

Dorsey T.

Any plans to produce in left handed or will that be strictly custom shop?

Carl N.

Hey Dorsey, nothing planned at the moment.

Chris Rowe 85

I would really love to see a Lefty Black Metal Arrow. Always wanted the Alexi600 in Lefty because of the single pickup but these black Arrows are cooler

Carl N.

Hey Chris, no lefty planned at the moment but I'd recommend visiting one of these two dealers.  They specialize in left handed instruments.

Will T.

This guitar is awesome!

Would you ever consider making a 7 string version?

Carl N.

Hey Will, thanks for your comment and suggestion!  Nothing planned at the moment but that would be awesome!

Gregory S.

This guitar has everything I want, all this is missing is 2 Seymour Duncan JB '59 TB4 humbucking pickups. Will anything like this ever happen with the Black Metal Satin?

Carl N.

Hey Gregory, then this isn't everything you want!  No plans to add a second pickup to the black metal series, the main allure of this series is the stripped down aesthetic.  That being said, the beautiful thing about guitars are that if you don't like something equipped on it...you can change it!!  Swapping pickups shouldn't be an issue for someone handy with a soldering iron, though routing another pickup cavity should be left to the professionals.

Gregory S.

Yeah that makes sense. I thought about doing a custom order for a guitar that is the exact same as the black satin just with 2 Seymour Duncan pick ups. I'm the type of player who doesn't like fret inlays, and have always like the completely blacked out look on guitars. If I were to order the exact same thing as the Arrow Black Metal just with 2 seymor duncan pick ups, how much would that cost me? I've also considered just buying the ARROW Black Metal because the guitar does sound good enough for the type of stuff I play. See this will be the first time I ever buy a NEW guitar and I want it to be the right one, I've been searching for almost a year and a half now.

Carl N.

Hey Gregory, you can spec out the instrument you want using our custom order form , you can then take this to any of our authorized dealers to receive your quote.  From what I have seen, ESP customs cost around $5,000+ but with being able to list nearly any specification you want your long search will be over.

Cody H.

Why the kill switch?  None of the other black metal models have it. Without it this would be a near perfect guitar but that silly kill switch taints it for me.

Carl N.

Hey Cody, not every musician has the same preference and while we try and please all of our players as you can see it is very difficult to produce an instrument that everyone will love.  I still personally enjoy the killswitch on this

Nik Spadola

I would KILL for an EX Black Metal

Carl N.

Hey Nik, I would too, let's hope we don't have to resort to that.

Myles H.

Thank you Todd. That was a much more detailed response than I expected. I appreciate it! I'll be sure to let you know how I like the instrurment, I'm sure it will be all positve and the sickest guitar I've owned today, next to my LTD Viper 401 of course..... The timely responses on this forum are much appreciated by all, I'm sure. Thanks again.

Todd B. ESP

HI Myles, You're welcome. Hope you do like your addition to your arsenal! The Viper-401's are great too!

Myles H.

Hi, where are these guitars made? Are they Korean? Thanks. I just ordered on last Friday! Stoked.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Myles, Great to hear that. We hope that you are pleased with your new instrument.

We are currently manufacturing this model in both Korea and Indonesia. However, we constantly monitor production standards at our various factories in Asia where we produce LTD models. Should we determine that a certain facility is capable of manufacturing an instrument to ESP's required standard or better, we may decide to shift production, or in some cases share production of a model, wherever that factory may be located. The guitar should be of excellent quality regardless of where it's made, and it will have passed our own quality assurance testing.

Charles P.

How about a hardtail V like this?

Todd B. ESP

Hi CHarles, thanks for your suggestions. We're focusing primarily on the Arrow V shape right now, however we thank you for your feedback.

Charles P.

Holy cow! You guys should bring back the V shape with this same specs! You know like the EII V II or LTD V400. Reverse pointy headstock rules!

Todd B. ESP

Hey Charles, Thanks for letting us know of your suggestion. Glad you like the reverse headstock Arrow too.

Alex L.

Love it! Could I get a baritone version, please?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Alex, glad you like it! It's not available in baritone at this time but we'll note your suggestion / request. thanks!

LW

This is such a sick guitar! PLEASE make this available with the double arrow body shape!!! PLEASE!?!

Todd B. ESP

Hi Lukas, thanks for your suggestion. We make the MK-600 model which is the only thing similar to what you described.

Unendlich

Any chance doing this model in left handed?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Unendlich, Currently not an option but could be in the future.

Ryan G.

7 String model please and I will buy this in a heartbeat.

Thanks

Todd B. ESP

Hi Ryan, Thanks. Most likely we'll be adding a few Black Metals for next year. Not sure if there will be a 7 string V yet.......but thanks for your recommendation.

Dan H.

Where are these built? Korea? Indonesia?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Dan,

We are currently manufacturing this model in both Korea and Indonesia. However,  we constantly monitor production standards at our various factories in Asia where we produce LTD models. Marron V.

i wonder if you guys goign to release a 7 string version of this in the future that would be AWWWWSSOOOOMMEMEE!!

Todd B. ESP

Hi Marron, Thanks for that suggestion. There is no planned release at this time but we will consider all options when designing new products for next year.

Marron V.

thank!! i think that ideas is not far from being done because you just had a viper 7 string black metal too! and you also released EII arrrow 7 before. fingers crossed lol

Todd B. ESP

Hi Marron, There are so many great ideas from many people.......

Justin W.

Just ordered one of these yesterday, can it handle 10 - 52 strings? Want to replace the 9 - 42's and tune it down a half step.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Justin, Yes no problem to change the strings to 10-52. You will just need to have it setup properly (adjust nut slots, neck bow/trussrod, action and intonation). We do always recommend that whether or not you are changing strings or tuning it is best to get your instrument setup by a professional repair person.

Robert M.

Is it available with black winter p/u instead?

Todd B. ESP

Hi Robert, No sorry it is not available with a different pickup configuration.
