The f series is my favorite design. There should be a 1000 series (including a 7 string) for 2021.

Thanks for the suggestion!

This is a beauty. But yeah I'm totally with Adam K here on the baritone. Don't know why it's gone, sad times. An F200B hardtail in stain black would absolutely rule

Thanks for the feedback!

Just got the F-200, plays great! Wondering specifically what locking nut is standard, like an F2 or F3? Thanks!

Carl N.

This will use a 42mm Floyd Rose nut

Stephen F.

I bought an F200 back in 2003 with the EMG-HZ set stock. I have many guitars, yet this is always my goto when I want to play at my peak. Currently have Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi set and I can get all the tones with the F200 and my Kemper. Great guitar and excellent quality.

Question as I’ve seen mixed answers on your materials in the past:

Is my guitar, with the Metallic Silver color, a mahogany guitar?

Carl N.

Back then this would have been made with a basswood body, hope this helps.

Stephan S.

Forgive my ignorance. I don't know anything about guitar building, but I wanted to know if it were possible to pay for this guitar to have a photograph of my significant other modeling in place of the black paint?

Carl N.

The Japanese custom shop could handle such a task though the cost involved may be more than you are willing to part with.  Might be better for you to search for guitar wrapping services or local refinishing shops in your area.

I am excited to see a lefty version of the F-series coming out. I like higher spec'd gear but I dig this body style and the 200 series at this price will no doubt be a solid piece of kit. A soon as they are out I'll probably pick one up.

Thanks for sharing

What happened to the Baritone one I was going to snag it this year but it is no longer on here? I agree with Reprisal Within there used to be more features I like to see a Pointed headstock with Flame Maple in Green, Purple, Black ,Blue top, Gold or Black Hardware  some new cool appointments on it that are different than previous versions and maybe an Ax with new Versions as well I always wondered why the Ax never had the pointed headstock that was what kept me from buying one was the ugly headstock lol,.  I already gave an idea for the  EX 7string point headstock like Seth of Behemoth. New King Diamond signature models as well as  a Metallica  And Justice For All Guitar with the cover on an M Series like the Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning, and Master  builds. I  work for Guitar Center Okc Store and I talk to alot of guitarists that we give our opinions on this Brand and this Brand these are what I am told as well as thought about for myself. ESP if you need help with any ideas hit me up this is what I  do for a living.

Carl N.

Thank you for the insight.  The baritone version was discontinued at the end of 2018.

Reprisal Within

Seems there should be one more configuration of this series. I really want one but I need nicer inlays than standard dots and I really don't like floating bridges. A tune-o-matic with the cooler looking inlays and available in a dark green or dark blood red would make me really... excited, but black always doable.

Carl N.

Thanks for the insight!

I'd love to see the Standard series F return, or something similar. A tune-o-matic on this body is my dream and I'd rather not have to drill for bolts, and fill holes/cavities to get a clean look.

Carl N.

Thanks for the insight Dillon.

April M.

I’m planning on buying this guitar, please do not put this on clearance, because I love this shape and this guitar is built very well

April M.

Or take it out of production, also please keep the color

April M.

Don’t take it out of production*

Carl N.

Hey April, this is a new model for 2020, should be around for a bit.

Grinder Sin

I'm with you on this one. I needs it too!
