I like pointy guitars.. I'm guilty. This thing looks sick.

This has the best neck of any ESP anything I've ever played. Ibanez Wizard I thin...even with the paint. Absolutely excellent guitar. Take that shape, add a neck pickup and different colors and a LOT of them would sell.

I was half joking that based off the specs that if I had a chance to buy this guitar I would. This might have been before the release of the SD-1 actually. Then this guitar gets announced and two weeks later I’m special ordering it from my local Sam Ash. It wasn’t in my hands until late April 2022 but well worth the wait. Despite my bravado I was apprehensive of having to deal with a Floyd Rose equipped guitar again but this one hasn’t caused me any hassle just yet. I’ve also been trying to soak up all the tips and tricks of FR maintenance. Over all this guitar is one of the best playing guitars I’ve ever owned. Right up there with my Ninja 600. Also met Sammy Duet and Ben Falgoust after their show this year in Vegas. Incredibly nice guys.

something I noticed with mine today... to me, the inlaid LTD logo has a stark visual depth as if it's real mother of pearl. not sure if it actually is that, or if it's pearloid, but whatever it is it's a really nice touch and sure catches the eye. gotta commend sammy for keeping the feature set on this guitar uncompromising and extremely detail oriented, from the logo to the inlays to the stainless steel frets and screws, everything is just really well thought out. and the strap buttons! never before have I played a star or explorer that balanced this well.

Based off your comment when I had opened up the case at the Sam Ash I had ordered mine from I immediately checked out the Ltd inlay. I don’t think it’s mother of pearl but honestly I haven’t a clue. I’ve shown both my wife and stepson to glow in the dark dots and neither of them were very impressed.

My wife just called me a dork… admittedly she has plenty of reasons to say as much.

Just got mine six days ago! Complements the RL-600 really well

Ethan S. P.

I’ve played an RL-600 once in a guitar store when it was new and I was 19 and couldn’t afford it at the time. And now I think I won’t be complete without one. Balls.

Bought this guitar and was told to expect it’s arrival around the end of January ie my birthday. So my wife is trying to find someone to make a birthday cake with the guitar’s silhouette it. Happy Birthday/New Guitar Day to me.

Careful, you'll put you eye out with that thing. Or stab your bass player in the Christmas balls.

So glad he finally got a production sig model. Hopefully this isn't a limited run so I can save for this.

Very interesting guitar. I'd love to try one at some point because I don't have any 24.75" scale guitars. I can only imagine how immense the case is!
