SNOW WHITE
Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument. Based on the ESP Snapper shape, the SN-1000FR Snow White is like the ultimate tricked-out, fully-modded classic H/S/S guitar everyone wished they had in the ‘80s. It includes a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws for long-term reliability. It offers a comfortable alder body paired with a roasted maple neck that has a compound radius for maximum speed and comfort. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard includes 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and is scalloped from frets 17-24. Aesthetic details like a matching-finish headstock give this guitar a premier look. Components on the SN-1000FR Snow White include Grover tuners, dome control knobs, a brushed black pickguard, and two Fishman Fluence Single Width pickups in the neck and middle positions, and a Fishman Fluence Classic Humbucker in the bridge, with push-pull controls on the volume and tone knobs to select among these innovative pickups’ multiple voicings.
I just bought this beauty a little bit more than a week ago. Mine was came perfectly setup out of the box. I didn't need to do any adjustment or whatsoever because it is already great. It came in tune with standard tuning, intonation was correct, neck relief and string action is also on the sweet spot. Really love the roasted maple neck with ebony fingerboard and SS frets, it feels smooth and this enhances this guitar's playability. This is the first time I bought a guitar without any setup needed (although it might be that I'm just lucky).
Some consideration :
- I still need to get used to Scalloped neck on frets 17-24. Some licks are somehow harder for me to pull off on the scalloped neck.
- The gloss finish on the body might get sticky feeling if you have a sweaty forearm.
- Volume and Tone knob on mine are rather loose so one could accidentally turn the volume or tone down without realizing it.
- 1 of The Floating Bridge tremolo screw adjustment under the backplate (screw beside the spring) on mine is stuck and I could not turn it left or right no matter what. Luckily I use set of 9s gauge so I don't need to do the adjustment, however if I'm gonna change the string gauge in the future, this will be a potential problem.
Other than that Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
