MH-1000NT
MH-1000NT
CHARCOAL BURST
The LTD MH Series combines design elements of ESP’s H/Horizon models, like its archtop body, and from the M/Mirage guitars, like its inline headstock and extra-thin u-shaped neck. The result is a guitar that can do no wrong for any style of music. The MH-1000NT features set-thru construction at 25.5” scale, allowing for smooth and fast access to the highest frets. It offers a mahogany body with flamed maple top, finished in a translucent Charcoal burst finish to allow the figured wood to be a highlight, with white binding on the body, neck, and reversed headstock. The MH-1000NT has a sturdy thin u-shaped three-piece maple neck, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with offset block inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Black hardware and components on this excellent guitar include a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string thru body, LTD locking tuners, and a set of direct-mounted Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and black nickel covers to match this guitar’s outstanding aesthetics. Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl. Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response. The alnico neck pickup’s Voice 1 is Fishman’s modern active high-output tone, offering the ideal active alnico sound: full, round, and boosted, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker tone you’ve always wanted.
I had to have it the moment I saw it at NAMM. I saw my MH1001NT reborn. I have had her for the last 2 weeks and I have been maining her since she arrived. I love the reverse headstock, the wood and grain, I have experience with Fluences and the modern do not disappoint. I am absolutely amazed at the weight! I have nothing to say that is negative in any way. I love it and I don't see myself getting rid of either of my M's. I have a worthy successor for the MH1001NT (M1) in the MH1000NT (M2) and I am just giving my straightforward opinion on the instrument and it absolutely delivers if it has what you are looking for. Thank you again for another excellent piece sonic weaponry and I will be back in a year for another year for another. I have a gripe with you for the only thing you have my complaints on. I have a little angst for you and the case gouging. 1400 and I have to have a hardshell so I can get it dry at the eyewatering price of 1685. It's a little bit of a shade but it's a necessity. It is my most expensive instrument over both my MH1001NT and my KH-602 as well! I would not change my mind no matter what but I have to do right by the players. It's absolutely glorious in all of the ways that are not the case.
