A few days ago I was able to buy an Iron Cross Ltd, these types of guitars are not seen often, and you wonder how I got it? One day I went to the only music store in the city, and I saw this guitar, at that time then it cost about 1800 dollars, but after a few days, I could see that they gave it a discount, the new price was 1500 dollars, I had my doubts, if the guitar was really worth that price, and it was definitely the best decision that I was able to
take, I was able to get the one that is made in Korea, honestly the quality that this instrument has, the sound, the presence that it gives, is fantastic,
I wanted to share my experience with this guitar, Greetings from Antofagasta, Chile.

It's grown on me. Came a bit in need of a setup. Swapped the hetset for 81/60. Love the look. 

Beautiful guitar, but mine appears to have been wired incorrectly from the factory. The master volume doesn’t work and the tone knobs don’t seem to do what they should depending on which position the 3 way switch is. Pretty disappointing in a $1,500 guitar. 

Just order mine, I already have a truckster, vulture and snakebyte...my question  is do the newer models come with stainless steel frets or nickel?

Does anyone know what model of Tonepros bridge is on this guitar? Looking to upgrade to the GraphTech string saver saddles.

Bro why is there a 3 way toggle that is not even wired???

i have this guitar and the nut fell off while i was changing the strings

I don’t have a review per say but I’d love to have one this is a splendid guitar and well built.

Also just FYI. The control layout on the guitar are different then the diagram shows. The bridge pu and tone are swapped on mine anyhow. I actually like it this way. 

I have been told that the upper control switch (the one with the black ring around it) has no functionality - it is just there for aesthetic looks.  Is this true?

Just received my IC two days ago(Indonesian made). I have to say after owning more then 10 ESP and LTD's, this one is truly spot on. No adjustments needed after a quick tune. Fit and finish is perfect including the fret board. Incredible sound with the Het set. I also own the Vulture LTD with the same EMG HETSET. The Iron Cross for some reason sounds better to my ears. Actually had to down tone the bridge PU because of the high output. Guess it's having that tone option on this axe that makes these pickups so versatile. Only wish the frets were stainless instead of nickel. Fantastic instrument. Thanks ESP and James.

So has ESP fixed the quality issues with the signature series? I’ve been reading a lot of reviews that are several years old complaining about fret buzz and quality issues of the James hetfield signature. I’m stuck between this guitar and a schecter. The only thing holding me back is paying $1300 for a guitar I haven’t had my hands on or my ear to listen to in person. It would be a shame for a guitar company to not take constructive criticism from over 7 years ago and not fix them.
