I don't typically write reviews, but this bass blew me away, I knew I had to share my experience with other bassheads thinking of getting this bass. I'd read that it was a heavy bass, but that's not true. It is far lighter than my Fender Aerodyne and MM Stingray. The body is smaller than both and I didn't realize this has a 2 octave fretboard. Out of the box the intonation was spot on. The strings are good, the neck is thin and fast, and the fretless sound is exactly what I hoped it would be. Overall, the construction is excellent and you can't beat how this looks and feels to play. This is my everyday bass from now on, and I'm even considering selling my MM to get a fretted ESP. Very well done on the quality and price of this bass. I am very impressed!
I got the 5 strings fretless but I have to say that When I open the box I was fascinated about this beautiful bass but, when I started to play I realized that the B, the E and the A strings buzzing against the fretboard well it should not happen with a bass with this budget anyway, I raised the the screws from the bridge all the way up but the buzzing still there♂️ I checked online to see what the hell can I do to solve the problem and at the end I unscrewed the neck a “little” after that seems ok, just the bridge B string screws is still all the way up and looks not well. End of the story, I’m not very happy with it , I expected a real solid and well settled up bass at this price, but I received something that I had to figure it out to let it sound discreetly.

Have had mine for about 2 weeks and have had buzzing from about the 4th fret up on every string. To the point the were flat at the first frets. But I was able to fix the buzzing following an ESP reps suggestion after I emailed them today. Got back fast and replied fast. Not sure how far I turned it exactly but he said turn the truss rod left .010” -.020”. Did a little then tested a few times until it felt good and got to just a little to no buzz. Then made “very” slight adjustments at the bridge to correct. Now no buzzing. Have a sort of springy sound a the first fret on the E. I’ll just try another very minor adjustment later to fix that. Just make sure to look down the neck towards the body to get the right direction. That was the hard part to figure out for me. Even with the reps clear instructions there is a still a little hesitance and uncertainty without a visual example. Only found one video in a dozen online that showed the turning in the actual direction with instruction that made it clear. Positioned mine between my legs like a cello. It took a little but was eventually able to get the the Allen wrench to seat properly and turn the truss rod. You’ll know when it’s turning. You’ll feel the resistance and then the movement. Good luck
