Caleb Shomo (Beartooth) Reacts to the LTD Deluxe Phoenix-1001

Caleb Shomo, the founder, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist of rock band Beartooth, got a chance to try out the LTD Deluxe Phoenix-1001, part of ESP's "New for 2024" collection. This guitar offers the smooth, flowing curves of the Phoenix guitar shape with an outstanding Tobacco Sunburst finish on its quilted maple top. This neck-thru-body guitar at 25.5” scale has a thin u-shaped three-piece mahogany neck and mahogany body wings, and includes single-ply white binding on the body, neck, and matching-finish reversed headstock. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard has ESP flag inlays and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Black hardware components on the Phoenix-1001 include LTD locking tuners, and a TonePros TOM locking bridge and tailpiece. The versatile and dynamic pickup on the Phoenix-1001 is the Seymour Duncan Custom 14, a new pickup made exclusively for ESP that offers high output and extraordinary tonal balance with mind-blowing articulation and clarity, and is splittable with a push-pull control on the tone knob.
