Lars Frederiksen, guitarist and songwriter for the iconic punk rock band Rancid, is here to tell you about his Signature Series LTD Volsung-200, a version of his famous guitar that's priced for players on a tighter budget who still want all the sound and attitude this guitar delivers. It’s built with set-neck construction at 24.75” scale, pairing a mahogany body to a three-piece mahogany neck. The Volsung-200 has a roasted jatoba fingerboard with dot inlays and 22 extra-jumbo frets. Its black chrome hardware complements its Black Satin finish. Components on the Volsung-200 include LTD tuners, an LTD bridge and tailpiece, and a set of acclaimed, punchy ESP LH-150 passive pickups in the bridge and neck positions that feature custom black chrome covers and exposed pole pieces. Unlike most Viper models, the Volsung-200 offers three control knobs, with individual volume controls for each pickup plus tone control and pickup selector.
