It also includes precise Grover tuners. The sound of the SN-1000 EverTune Koa comes from a special set of world-class passive pickups. Its bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Custom 14, a new pickup made exclusively for ESP that offers high output and extraordinary tonal balance with mind-blowing articulation and clarity, and is splittable with a push-pull control on the tone knob. The Custom 14 is paired with a cosmetically-matching Seymour Duncan APH-1 Alnico II Pro humbucker in the neck position, a legendary pickup that offers a warm tone that is smooth and full, with tons of natural sustain.
