ESP ALL ACCESS COMMUNITY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! All Access member Ian Shuirr records and performs as InVase, and we've featured his excellent work a couple of times before. This musician has an interesting background; he started out as a drummer and played in bands like Straight Line Stitch before switching over to guitar, which may explain some of the great complexity of his rhythms. Ian is using his LTD Deluxe MH-1000 on this original tune called "Swell," and sent some notes: "First song I've written with this tuning, which is drop B but with a low G#, which is a little weird. Interesting to mess around with. Also, most of this song was recorded using the coil split. Just thought it sound interesting and cool. Bass used was my LTD D-6 from I think around 2013 or so."
