Apurbo Karmokar is a highly talented Bangladeshi musician with a strong passion for becoming a prominent figure in the rock music scene. His musical journey commenced in 2007, demonstrating a deep commitment to honing his craft. In the initial phase, he dedicated ten years to mastering the harmonium, delving into various genres such as Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Sangeet, Lalongeeti, Folk, and diverse musical styles.

Driven by a desire to evolve and resonate with contemporary trends, Apurbo embraced the challenge of adapting to new-generation band music. This marked the beginning of his exploration into playing instruments like the guitar, ukulele, and others. As he immersed himself in this musical transition, he progressively shifted his focus towards crafting his own compositions.

Currently, Apurbo Karmokar is a prolific songwriter and composer, contributing a unique and personal touch to his musical creations. His original compositions, including notable tracks like “EKTI BRISHTIR GOLPO” and “NOSTO OTIT,” have garnered acclaim and established him as a notable artist in the music scene.

In a significant milestone for his career, Apurbo founded the band “ROCKWAVE” in 2022, a dynamic rock ensemble hailing from Bangladesh. Within the band, he assumes the roles of the Vocalist, Frontman, and Riff Guitarist, showcasing his multifaceted talents as both a singer and instrumentalist. Through ROCKWAVE, Apurbo continues to make impactful contributions to the rock genre, solidifying his position as a promising and influential figure in the Bangladeshi music industry.
