In my experience SD Pearly Gates are fantastic pickups for blues and classic rock styles. Amazingly good, actually - like a PAF with a little more output. Someone who wants to play metal would probably want something heavier......MORE »

Hi Jonathan, They are both extra thin so they have the same thickness, but the thin flat shape is slightly flatter while our thin u shape is a little rounder. Both shapes are thin and comfortable. ......MORE »
