I've had this guitar for awhile now, love the look of it, but there were some serious quality control issues, so much so I thought I was sent a return. I've fixed most of them, but yeah, hopefully you don't have these issues. The first thing I noticed was the nut was glued on slightly off-center, so the strings didn't naturally fall around the dot inlays, everything was shifted to the high e. That also made the high e string sit closer to the edge of the neck, which was annoying. I replaced the nut with a graph tech 6143, which still needed to be filed to fit the neck better. A couple frets sat a little high and there were also fret sprout issues, which were easy to take care of with a fret file. Still annoying for a nice guitar like this. Everything else was fine. The feel of the guitar is quite nice, the neck feels good, it sounds good, had 0 issues with any electronics or other components, but that neck needed some work.

Hey, Really interested in these but I have noticed there are two types of fret markers. The ones in the middle and offset! I really love the offset but cant find these in the UK.. Any help or reasons?

I received this new guitar a few weeks ago and for now, this is the closest to my ideal specs without having to break the bank for a proper E-II (which are probably better made but I couldn’t find the specs and neck I wanted). I have already an LTD MH-1000ET Deluxe and I really love the extra thin neck (with compound radius) and low-profile bridge so I really wanted the same feel and comfort.

Needless to say, the top finish is absolutely gorgeous and that’s the first thing which caught my eyes for that M1000HT.

I am a EMG guy so I need to get used to that different sound that the Fishman Fluence offers but that’s a nice change I think and the pickups deliver for sure (very clear and articulate)! I just wish to have the split-coil to add an extra bit of versatility (other brands provide it with Fishman Fluence pickups).

The locking tuner and bridge work perfectly fine, the guitar stays in tune nicely. The neck and frets are all fine too, I have no complains at all, it’s smooth and comfortable. And I really appreciate the natural satin finish (please stop the lacquered finish on the necks, it looks nice but so uncomfortable).

It’s a detail but the dots inlays are on the side for my guitar (but I saw pics where it’s on the center which I would have preferred, personally). They are also quite dull and hard to spot in the dark.

The main issue I had was, it came with an obvious jack input issue: the input was loose and the connection was very dirty inside which is quite disappointing for a brand new guitar. Clearly the factory QC overlooked this because it was very noticeable and easy to spot. A bit disappointing for an LTD deluxe (made in Korea).

Also, the binding paint on the neck has some minor issues (very noticeable near the body joint but also on the head). Nothing crazy but this was not a player grade guitar, I paid the full price for it…

Except for the few QC issues listed above, I am overall very happy with this new LTD.

I have to say this is one awesome looking guitar. Prefer bolt on necks myself. But I am sure this still feels great.

I notice it says lefty available on the M-1000ht but when I go to buy now it is only showing the right handed model. How can I order a lefty? Thank you and also thanks for being such a lefty friendly company. You are one of the very few companies that offer most of these models in a left handed version.

Hello, why do some fingerboards on this model have offside dots and others have them in the middle?

Any recommendations for better quality locking turners for this guitar without the need to drill an additional hole?

Hello ESP,

two weeks ago I purchased this guitar. I have a question for the official site. The fretboard inlays is not as the ones in the picture but as the M-1000 model with the Floyd rose. The dotes/inlays are in the side instead of the center. The guitar is made in Indonesia. I did the purchase from an official dealer in Germany. Is it normal? Also the plastic cover says M-1000 instead of M-1000HT. Should I worry for the genuineness? Thanks a lot and waiting for your kind reply!

I im ready to order this guitar and then i notice , the finishes ive seen everywhere  on the internet dont match at all with what is advertised , and im so concerned about that , it seems that the M-1000HT BLACK FADE on the 2020 Nam was so much more beautiful filled with burls and full of  depth and colour like you see in the first picture of the guitar displayed here , if you go check the left handed one the finish is much more updated to the current reality , and the guitar is much more plain with less to almost no burls and the black fade is less existent , ive checked some videos and pictures of some and its clear that the top was changed to a less concistent look , im sending you guys a screanshot of the coments on the presetation video for the guitar and ull see ppl talking about the same thing. Im a ESP guy forever and im proud to be but this one kinda crushed my dreams.

I hope i can get some help from you guys..

Kind regards.

Are these stainless steel, i bought this in 2021, and are these dot inlays mother of pearl ?

Are the dot inlays pearloid, or mother of pearl? Basically, are they cheap?

In the thread mentions only new for 2021 have stainless steel frets. Why does the description say stainless steel frets? If this particular model is produced in 2021 will it have stainless steel frets?

My dream is that in 2022 there will be a version with this finish and drivers, but with a floyd rose bridge. I am going to buy one for my 33rd birthday (March 31/03/22) and it would be the best gift I could think of. She would then join her brothers LTD M1000 SW, LTD H351 BLK FR and MH 351FR STBLK. I look forward to the proposals for '22. Maybe this dream will come true. Snow White is already with me. I love this instrument. He is brilliant in every way. If not, this attitude on LTD M 1000 GNP. She is also beautiful and I have a very big dilemma. If it will be above. I take the FB finish from the hand, if not PNB ... Regards

Hi just ordered from sweetwater. I can’t tell if the frets are ss or nickel. Is there something in the cereal number that would indicate if this is a 2021 model or not?
