About Me:

Music has been in my family as long as I can remember, with my Dad, uncles and grandfather all contributing to the organized noise in some form or fashion. I received my first guitar, a Fender acoustic at the age of 12 and began playing immediately. The first day I got the guitar I practiced until I was able to play Beethoven’s Ode to Joy (mind you it was only the 2 string version). I even had to put band aids on my fingers! Not long after that I got my first electric “rig”, a Mako guitar and a tiny Gorilla amp. Then I was rocking with Dokken and trying to play the main riff from “Breaking the Law” by Judas Priest. At the age of 13 or 14 I worked in the cornfields of Wisconsin in an effort to raise the money for my first “real” electric, an Ibanez RG 550.

I was raised on rock n’ roll and metal, but have developed an appreciation for jazz, blues and country. I’ve been playing in bands since the age of 15, but have always wanted to follow my heroes and play my own instrumental music. I have found myself at a place that allows me to pursue that passion and am doing just that. I just finished my first instrumental album entitled “Underwater Fire Love”.

I also currently teach guitar and gig with various bands in the Indianapolis area.
